Speaking Engagements

With over a decade of experience in the medical field in addition to my work in the outdoor industry, I can use my integrated knowledge and skillsets to customize a presentation that addresses your business’ or organization’s specific needs. These efforts have historically included contextual demographic information, communication strategies, pre-event marketing, equipment recommendations, etc. Classes along these lines can establish a framework and unified language to start the process of increasing accessibility in your business or organization.

Every Body Outside Consulting delivers an exceptional training experience. Enhancing the accessibility of public lands can be a challenge, particularly with staffing and budget constraints. We initially struggled to determine where to begin. However, Kelsey’s Accessibility Series training effectively breaks down trail accessibility concepts into manageable steps and hands-on experiences. She offers a realistic perspective on creating meaningful change and guides agencies in developing plans that align with both their values and strategic goals. Our staff members who participated, left the training inspired to approach their responsibilities with an accessibility-focused mindset. The training was so well received that we plan to offer it again for new team members. We are grateful to Kelsey for sharing her expertise and passion, grounded in a deep understanding of how public land agencies operate

Testimonials

Emily Bastos, No Barriers Program Director

“Kelsey has helped No Barriers identify how to better support people affected by disabilities in the Fort Collins and greater Colorado community. She continues to be an advocate for advancing awareness, infrastructure, and resources to get more people thriving in the outdoors..”

Korrie Johnston, Public Engagement Manager

Shannon Stutzman, Nonprofit Strategist for Grant Submissions

“I wanted to mention Kelsey specifically for all of the amazing work and information she has provided for this application. It was exciting to write based on the words you provided and I had a lot of fun on this project.”

“When we started training with Every Body Outside in 2024, we were uncertain of the path to take or even where to start to improve accessibility of the outdoors. It felt overwhelming. The training allowed us to understand important history and policy, how it relates to what we do every day, and how we can begin to take small steps towards improvements. We now have had half of our staff complete the training, which has resulted in a shared language and greater depth of understanding of our collective path forward. Every Body Outside was a critical component in our progress and ultimately, in greater outdoor accessibility in Larimer County.”

I am excited to hear from you so we can work together to get Every Body Outside!
